New Monument Architecture Planned for Thermopylae
Renowned French architect Arthur Mamou-Mani presented a forward-looking proposal for a new monument in Thermopylae, the historic site where 2,500 years ago a small Greek force under King Leonidas fought against the Persian Empire. The architectural design was unveiled in December 2025 at the Thermopylae Forum.
