New RAF Helicopters Strengthen British Operational Capability on Cyprus
The first of three new Airbus H145 Jupiter HC Mk2 helicopters at RAF Akrotiri has successfully completed its maiden flight, establishing 24-hour, 365-days-per-year operational capability on Cyprus. The helicopters can be configured for various mission types, including anti-aircraft operations, reconnaissance, and search and rescue operations.
