New Recruitment System for Cypriot Civil Service Requires Months for Implementation
Although the government and authorities have agreed in principle on reform measures for the civil service personnel recruitment system, practical implementation will require considerable time. The Public Service Administration (PSA) clarified before the Parliamentary Economic Committee that even with immediate parliamentary approval, several months would be required for implementation. This is viewed as a significant challenge in civil service personnel management reform.
