New Regulations for Property Expropriation and Compensation
Cypriot legislation on property expropriation for public purposes is being modernized to establish clear compensation procedures for affected citizens. The law also expands the scope of application to archaeological purposes and regulates new procedures for compensation payments in case of rejection or death of the owner.
