New regulations on conflicts of interest in public service
The Justice Ministry is introducing tightened regulations on conflicts of interest (Asymbibasto) for state and independent officials through a bill. A new committee replaces two previous ones to ensure better oversight. The regulation expands the circle of reviewed persons, introduces stricter controls for greater transparency, and prohibits participation in decision-making processes where conflicts of interest exist.
