New Sahara dust wave hits Cyprus
A new high-pressure system centered over the southwestern part of the island is bringing increased concentrations of African dust to Cyprus again. Caused by cyclonic activity north of Egypt, the dust is expected to remain suspended in the atmosphere through Sunday inclusive, with temporarily elevated concentration values. The National Weather Service issues this special warning for public information.
