New Solar Installation Powers Treatment Plants in Nicosia
A new photovoltaic installation has been connected to the power grid of the joint wastewater treatment plant in Nicosia in the area of Mias Milias/Haspolat and is expected to cover approximately 18 percent of the plant's annual electricity demand. The €1.6 million project was financed by the European Union through an aid program for the Turkish Cypriot community.
