New Spider Species Named After Greek God
Scientists discovered a new group of tarantulas on the Arabian Peninsula and in the Horn of Africa and named them after a nature deity of ancient Greek mythology. The study led by Alireza Zamani from the University of Turku analyzed both the physical characteristics and genetic composition of the spiders.
