Nicosia and Israel's Mekorot Sign Water Management Cooperation Agreement
The Local Government Organization of Nicosia District has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Israel's national water company Mekorot. The agreement aims at exchanging expertise and best practices for sustainable water management. A key objective is to further reduce non-revenue water, which currently stands at approximately 19-20% – the lowest level among Cypriot districts and below the EU average.
