Nicosia Protests "Flag" at DeCarlo-Erciuman Meeting
The flag of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus at a meeting between DeCarlo and Erciuman in Antalya triggered strong reactions in Nicosia. The Cypriot government filed protests both with the United Nations in New York and with the UN Good Offices office in Cyprus, alleging violation of UN resolutions.
