Nicosia: Youth terrorize neighborhood with stones and fireworks
Residents of the Palouriotissa district in Nicosia report groups of youths throwing stones, fireworks and gas canisters from Aphrodite Park into houses, setting fires and harassing residents. In an open letter to Mayor Charalambos Prountzos, residents demand action and suggest fencing off the park. The situation is described as unbearable.
