No human-to-human transmission of H5N1 detected
Following the discovery of H5N1 avian flu virus in birds at Athalassa Park this week, there have been no cases of human-to-human transmission of the virus according to infectiologist Petros Karayiannis. The expert emphasizes there is no reason for concern and comments on the question of possible virus mutation upon human infection.
