North: Unions Sue Against Suspension of Cost-of-Living Allowances
Turkish-Cypriot unions and the opposition party CTP have filed a lawsuit before the Constitutional Court of Northern Cyprus against a decree by the government coalition. The decree halts the payment of cost-of-living allowances for public sector employees until next year. The plaintiffs are demanding the annulment of the decree, which was announced shortly after its adoption by the coalition.
