Northern Route could make European ports more quickly accessible for exports
China is preparing to convert a one-time Arctic expedition into a regular container service. Chinese shipping company Sea Legend Shipping plans weekly voyages on the Northern Route with smaller feeder ships between August and October to offer a faster alternative to the Suez Canal route to Europe.
