Number of unaccompanied minors drops from 1,100 to under 350
The number of unaccompanied minor migrants in the care of social services authorities in Cyprus has dropped from approximately 1,100 to under 350. The Sub-ministry for Migration released this statistic in response to a parliamentary question from Larnaca. Accommodation spaces have also been reduced simultaneously, which has changed the overall situation for this population group.
