Nursing shortage to persist beyond 2030
A scientific study confirms the nursing shortage in Cyprus with a deficit of 586 professionals. The problem is expected to continue beyond 2030, particularly as new laws on palliative care and home nursing for chronically ill and elderly patients require additional resources that were not included in the calculation.
