Occupation forces deploy armored vehicles in Pyla buffer zone
The Turkish occupation army has moved armored vehicles into the demilitarized zone at Pyla, triggering a serious escalation. This followed days of tensions between the occupation forces and UNFICYP. Subsequently, British military forces also deployed strong units to the area from their bases.
