Oil Prices Fall Below $100 Following Iran Ceasefire
Oil prices have fallen below $100 per barrel following a ceasefire agreement between the US and Iran. The expectation that oil and gas flows through the Strait of Hormuz will soon resume led to a decline in Brent crude futures to $91.70. Energy stocks on both sides of the Atlantic recorded sharp losses.
