Oil prices fall sharply on hopes for US-Iran agreement
Crude oil prices fell significantly on Wednesday as expectations grow for a peaceful settlement between the US and Iran to end the war in the Middle East. Brent crude fell 6.7 percent to $102.50 per barrel, while American West Texas Intermediate declined even more sharply.
