Oil prices rise after Trump rejects Iranian offer
Oil prices experience an increase of over 2.5 percent after US President Donald Trump rejected an Iranian de-escalation offer. Brent crude oil is trading just below 107 dollars per barrel, driven by the failed mediation in the Strait of Hormuz conflict. The November contract for Brent oil gains 2.51 percent to 106.94 dollars.
