Oldest US Prisoner Dies at Age 101
Francis Clifford Smith, the longest-serving inmate in a US prison, died at the age of 101 on June 25. The execution of the American was postponed a total of eight times, which resulted in him spending 70 years in prison. Smith had a criminal record starting from age 13.
