Ombudsman Inspectors Review Prison Conditions for Minors
Officials from the Cypriot Ombudsman and the European Council's prevention mechanism conducted an unannounced visit to the Central Prisons to inspect conditions in the juvenile detention facilities. The inspection is part of an EU project to improve and strengthen national prevention mechanisms.
