One-third of Cypriots endangered by heart disease
According to the Cyprus Cardiology Society, one-third of the population in Cyprus is threatened by mortality from cardiovascular disease, while one-fifth could die prematurely from this condition. The society is launching a nationwide awareness campaign on the occasion of World Heart Day on September 29.
