Online fraud wave in Cyprus: over 56,000 euros stolen
Police are investigating two new cases of internet fraud involving substantial financial losses, following reports filed at the Limassol and Paphos police stations. A 50-year-old was defrauded through fake bank emails, while a 48-year-old granted a fraudster remote access to her computer. Over 56,000 euros disappeared through these scams in total.
