Online shopping fee brings in 2 million euros
The new 3-euro customs fee on online orders generated surprisingly high revenues of nearly 2 million euros in July. The customs authority processed 650,000 fee-liable items in 160,000 packages, reflecting the high demand of Cypriot consumers for affordable online shopping.
