Only 20 Percent of Traffic Camera Fines Successfully Delivered
Parliamentarians were informed that only approximately 20 percent of 190,000 traffic camera fines could be successfully delivered. The Traffic Ministry defended the current delivery procedure while simultaneously working on new legislation that would enable electronic delivery of traffic violation notices. The low success rate indicates significant challenges in enforcing traffic violations.
