Only two football pitches meet safety standards in Cyprus
According to Cyprus police, only two of the open football stadiums meet all regulations for safe match operations under the law. The remaining pitches have deficiencies, particularly in closed-circuit video surveillance systems, ticket control, and spectator distribution. The stadiums could face difficulties meeting standards without state-of-the-art video surveillance systems.
