Opposition Parties Demand Information on GSI Privatization Deal
Both the Democratic Rally (ΔΗΣΥ) and the Communist Party (ΑΚΕΛ) are calling for complete transparency regarding the agreement between grid operator ΑΔΜΗΕ and French investor Meridiam concerning the Great Sea Interconnector (GSI). Both parties raise critical questions about the conditions, costs, and implications for the Republic of Cyprus's obligations as well as possible Turkish reactions.
