Organic compounds discovered in Chinese lunar regolith
An international research team has identified several nitrogen-containing organic compounds in the lunar regolith from China's Chang'e-5 and Chang'e-6 missions. The study, led by the Institute of Geology and Geophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, provides new insights into the development of organic matter in the early solar system.
