Organic Farming Exceeds EU Target in Cyprus
The share of organic farming in Cyprus has risen to 8.6 percent of cultivated land, exceeding the national target of 7.5 percent for 2027. Agriculture Minister Christos Senekis reported that approximately 1,500 producers are currently active in the organic sector. European organic production regulation supports this development.
