Over 62,000 Cypriot Borrowers with Debt Collection Companies
Cypriot credit service providers and loan acquisition companies managed a loan portfolio of 19.28 billion euros at the end of June 2026, with a non-performing loan rate of approximately 95 percent. Credit servicers alone managed 9.3 billion euros in household loans, with over 62,000 Cypriot borrowers managed through debt collection companies, according to the Central Bank of Cyprus.
