Over 900 Gesy patients approved for treatment abroad
The Health Insurance Organization (HIO) approved 932 of 1,304 applications from Gesy-insured patients for medical treatment abroad during its first year of responsibility. Since October 2025, 24 cases have been classified as life-threatening and 86 as emergency cases. The referrals concern various patients with different medical needs.
