Overcrowded Children's Ward: Only Two Nurses for 15 Children
The children's ward at Makarios Hospital was completely overcrowded on the night of July 2 with approximately 15 hospitalized children while only two nurses were on duty. Parents and staff raised their concerns before parliament and criticized the inadequate staffing levels for the high occupancy.
