Panama: 37 Cases of Sexual Violence by Clergy Documented
A report by the Catholic Church of Panama documents 37 allegations of sexual violence by clergy over a period of more than 20 years, with children and vulnerable persons as victims. The investigation was conducted by two Catholic universities at the request of the Church itself.
