Panic scenes at London festival – injuries from crush
Mass panic occurred at the entrance gate of the Ghana Party in the Park Festival in north London. Hundreds of visitors were trapped, resulting in severe crowding and numerous injuries. The festival was ended prematurely for security reasons; reports of knife attacks were denied by authorities.
