Paphos Struggles with Dangerous Buildings - 10-12 Multi-Family Dwellings Affected
The management of dangerous and dilapidated buildings in Paphos is in a transitional phase with significant challenges. Following the transfer of responsibility from municipalities and district administrations to regional self-government organizations (ΕΟΑ), between 10 and 12 multi-family residential buildings have been identified in the Paphos district. The president of ΕΟΑ Paphos points to significant legal and practical gaps that hinder the effective management of these safety risks.
