Paralimni Commemorates Those Fallen in 1974
A commemorative service took place in Paralimni for the victims of the 1974 military coup and Turkish invasion. The national religious commemoration was held in the Church of Saint George, presided over by Bishop Vasilios of Famagusta, with government representation.
