Parliament Blocks Photo Radar System Again
Parliament rejected for the second time the release of 146,640 euros (plus VAT) for the technical implementation of a photo radar system intended to identify Turkish Cypriot drivers captured by cameras. The system would improve enforcement and process approximately 16,000 outstanding traffic citations. Parliament's Finance Committee objected to the budget allocation.
