Parliament extends VAT reduction for first-time home buyers
The Cypriot Parliament passed a legislative amendment extending the deadline for claiming the reduced value-added tax (5 percent) when purchasing a first property. The original regulation applied to applicants between June and October 2023. The extension allows more citizens to benefit from this tax concession.
