Parliament: Extension of Reduced 5% VAT on Residential Property
The Cypriot Parliament has introduced an urgent draft law to extend the reduced value-added tax rate of 5% on the purchase or construction of a primary residence for an additional year. The proposal was signed by all parties except AKEL and was to be put to an immediate vote.
