Parliament Tightens E-Scooter Rules with Higher Age Limits
The Cypriot Parliament has passed four legislative proposals that tighten regulations for e-scooters and other mobility devices. The measures include increased minimum ages for riders and passengers, increased speed thresholds for fines, and mandatory technical standards. Two motions for a complete ban of the devices in public spaces were rejected.
