Parliamentarian Warns of Strengthened Criminal Organizations
Deputy Irene Charalambidou told a parliamentary committee that criminal syndicates in Cyprus appear strengthened, citing extortion cases, including one involving a restaurant owner who reported protection racket activity to her.
