Parliamentary elections: Candidates with prior convictions under scrutiny
With the upcoming submission of election candidacies the following day, the Ministry of the Interior and the Legal Department are reviewing applications with possible prior convictions. The focus is on Article 64 of the Constitution, which defines strict qualification criteria for parliamentary representatives. At least three suspicious cases are currently under investigation.
