Parliamentary Majority Extends Deadline for Land Development Professionals
The Cypriot Parliament unexpectedly decided on Thursday to grant land development professionals and entrepreneurs a multi-month extension for pending urban planning permission applications. Permits granted by year-end are to benefit from a reduced value-added tax of 5%, which is based on older, less stringent regulations.
