Parthenon sculptures: British Museum acts questionably
The British Museum loans looted Parthenon sculptures to German museums and thereby indirectly pressures Greece to agree to a loan arrangement. The Greek side categorically rejects this approach. The British Museum is attempting to create a favorable climate for such a solution, while the Acropolis Museum has already rejected a similar loan request from the British Museum.
