Passenger ferry capsizes off Kyrenia – 279 people on board
The passenger ferry Express operated by Filo Jet shipping line capsized Sunday afternoon approximately two kilometers off the coast of Kyrenia, shortly after departing from port. There were 279 people on board, with reports of injuries. Turkish-Cypriot coast guard and rescue forces were deployed.
