Patient Ombudsman: 534 Complaints in Four Months
In their first four months of operation, the patient rights representatives recorded a total of 534 written and oral complaints. The most frequent concerns relate to the quality of health care, long waiting times, unnecessary burdens on patients, and insufficient information. Approximately two out of ten written complaints are directed against the TAEPZ (General Health Insurance System).
