Patients pay for occupational therapy out of pocket in new NHS system
Despite seven years of discussions, two government changes, and multiple shifts in Health Ministry positions, patients, predominantly children, continue to pay private costs for occupational therapy services. The services have not been fully integrated into the Cypriot health insurance system (GHS), although this was promised long ago.
