Pension Cuts Not Yet Excluded from Reform Plan
Shortly before the handover of the pension protection bill draft to social partners, government negotiations are in a critical phase. According to multiple sources, the scenario of a pension cut for higher earners is still being considered in order to increase pensions for lower earners. Unions categorically reject this approach and warn that pension cuts must not be permitted.
