Pension Reform: Assessed Positively and Critically
The Cypriot trade union organization SEK identifies both positive and problematic aspects in the draft bill on pension reform, the first part of the pension system reform. While the law fulfills some union demands and improves pension amounts, there are concerns about mandatory pension funds and financing questions that require further clarification.
